About Spiro's
“He’s from Greece, and she’s from Czechoslovakia”. I remember a newspaper article from 1984, in the St. Petersburg Times, about my parents Spiro and Judy. It talked about how neither could speak English when they came to America, and how they met in English school in 1974. My father left Greece, and my mother fled communism to pursue the American dream!
When they left Cleveland Ohio to get out of the cold, they joined friends and family in Florida. Soon after arriving they started their family and their business. With hard work and help from friends they were able to create their little landmark in South Pasadena Florida.
Now as the second generation, my wife and I, carry on the family tradition. We prepare and offer all the same time honored recipes just the way mom and dad made them.
